What Alex is

Alex is an AI-powered phone and SMS assistant for local businesses. It answers calls, sends texts, books appointments, and handles follow-up — but it is not a licensed professional, does not provide legal, medical, financial, or emergency services advice, and should not be used in place of services that require licensure or certification. For genuine emergencies, callers should be directed to 911.

What we don't guarantee

• 100% uptime — we target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Perfect AI accuracy on every call — Alex performs well in the vast majority of interactions but may occasionally misunderstand a caller or miss a detail
• Compatibility with all third-party systems — custom integrations are built on a per-customer basis and are subject to the availability of third-party APIs

Payment and cancellation

• Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date you sign up
• No refunds are issued for partial months — if you cancel mid-month, service continues through the end of the billing period
• To cancel, email hello@golocallaunch.com or cancel through your account. No cancellation fee applies.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

Acceptable use

You may not use Alex for:

• Any illegal business or activity
• HIPAA-covered healthcare operations without a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with GoLocalLaunch
• Deceptive practices, including misrepresenting the nature of the business Alex represents
• Spam, unsolicited outbound messaging, or harassment

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

Liability

GoLocalLaunch's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 30 days prior to the claim. We are not liable for lost revenue, missed bookings, or consequential damages arising from service interruptions or AI errors.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pennington County, Minnesota, or via binding arbitration if both parties agree.
