Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use GoLocalLaunch or interact with Alex (our AI phone and SMS assistant), we may collect:

• Name, phone number, and email address provided during onboarding or contact
• Call recordings and transcripts generated when callers interact with Alex
• SMS message content when callers text your business number
• Payment information processed through Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
• Basic usage data (pages visited, features used) for product improvement

How we use it

• Delivering the Alex service — booking appointments, sending follow-up texts, syncing to your CRM
• Processing your monthly subscription payment
• Improving Alex's accuracy and responses over time
• Sending you service notifications, updates, and support communications

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties. Ever.

Third-party services

GoLocalLaunch uses the following third-party services to deliver Alex:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• GoHighLevel (GHL) — CRM, calendar, and phone/SMS infrastructure.
• Twilio — SMS delivery and phone number management.
• Anthropic — AI language model powering Alex's responses.

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data passed through their systems.

Data retention

• Call recordings and transcripts: retained for 90 days, then deleted
• Contact information and CRM data: retained while your account is active and for 12 months after cancellation
• Payment records: retained as required by law (typically 7 years)

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@golocallaunch.com. We'll respond within 10 business days. Deleting your account removes your data from our active systems within 30 days.

Call recording notice

Calls handled by Alex may be recorded for quality and training purposes. It is your responsibility as a GoLocalLaunch customer to comply with applicable state laws regarding call recording disclosure — some states require notifying callers that they are being recorded. We recommend adding a brief disclosure to your Alex greeting.
