Who we are

GoLocalLaunch is a small software company based in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. We build AI tools specifically for local service businesses — plumbers, HVAC contractors, electricians, vet clinics, salons, and anyone else who runs a business where the phone is everything.

We're not a big agency or a venture-backed startup. We're a small team that understands what it's like to run a business in a small market — and we built Alex because we kept seeing the same problem: great local businesses losing jobs to voicemail.

What Alex is built on

Alex runs on GoHighLevel (GHL) for CRM, scheduling, and phone/SMS infrastructure — the same platform used by thousands of marketing agencies and local businesses nationwide. Voice AI is powered by Twilio and Anthropic's Claude, giving Alex a natural, responsive conversational style that doesn't sound like a phone tree.

We configure and manage everything. You don't need to understand any of that — you just forward your number and Alex goes to work.

Our mission

Give small local businesses the same phone coverage and customer communication tools that big companies have — without the big company price tag or the IT department. A plumber in Crookston, Minnesota should be able to answer every call at 2am just like a national chain can. Alex makes that possible for $97 a month.
